Our Story

DEFCON Athletics, established in 2012 and located in beautiful Montrose, is a private boutique Cross Training gym that offers individualized personal training and group fitness classes for individuals of all walks of life. We are proud to say that we were the first Fitness studio in Montrose, CA., and with the opening of our gym, we can serve individuals throughout Montrose, La-Crescenta, La-Cañada, Glendale, and Pasadena.

We pride ourselves on having the best trainers in the industry who will coach you through all the movements and exercises, whether a beginner or a seasoned professional, to help you reach your goals. Our private training sessions are ideal for individuals looking for customized training, and our fun group exercises are filled with people of all levels who want to get the most out of their fitness regime and will push you to achieve your records.

What we do?



You and your dedicated personal trainer will work together to create a tailored plan to achieve your fitness goal.

Your trainer will track your progress over your sessions to ensure the best results because objective metrics produce accurate results.


We recommend you take advantage of at least one Personal Training session per week along with your Group Classes to ensure maximum results.
